Stopover Youth Refuge

Stopover offers supported short-term crisis accommodation to single young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Young people can stay at Stopover for up to 6 weeks, in which time they are supported to find more suitable, stable long-term accommodation. Homelessness accommodation and support services provide a range of support to young people, adults and families who are at risk of homelessness or are homelessness.
St Vincent de Paul Society

The care of homeless youth, women, men and families is a primary concern of the St Vincent de Paul Society. The St Vincent de Paul Society currently funds homeless men’s hostels, women’s refuges, homeless family services, youth crisis centres, youth drop-in centres, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres and ‘night patrol’ or ‘soup van’ services. This emergency accommodation is more than a bed for the night. For more than 500,000 people every year, St Vincent de Paul is a lifeline, an organisation that provides community services for anyone who needs care and assistance.
